I felt, I saw her face,
and I launched my boat in the dark.
Followed her all night long,
then suddenly the morning ruptured,
and I saw her in the façade of the blazing Sun.
Our eyes met,
and I could hear a sigh of relief
broke from her lips, and could feel
a sense of shyness coming back to my lips.
“Come and get me out of here,” said my beloved.
A cry of joy broke from my lips
but my eyes were full of tears.
How on earth, was I to tell her
that the girl upstairs would never come down?
How can I tell her that the time
has scattered in the air, the ashes of our love?
I sat by myself for a while
as the first dew on the leaf of time,
and then said this to her,
“I know you’re burning for a piece of me.
You know I’m sobbing for a piece of you.
So, my love! Let us close our eyes and fly.”
O, listen, my love! Let us imagine,
me kissing you, head to toe and toe to head,
and you caressing my nakedness, with nothing on,
except the heat, and murmuring for more,
more, more, more, more, more and more……..
