Beautiful poem. Love is the gift that gives freely to any one who will receive it and is returned 100 times on those who allow themselves to be it's conduit. The poem, wrote about love, examplifies its value. I enjoyed reading this, t y.
You make such a good point. I wish the bombs would stop and peace would rule the world, but at least for now it will not happen. It will take love, compassion, understand and respct for that to happen. The ingredients lacking in today's world. Good write.
My goodness, Bhuwan... This is simply stunning! And the art is heart-stopping and so apposite. "I halt my heart at the edge of her lips" is KNOCKOUT... And the final stanza is a most unique and wonderful summation of the whole. Very grounded imagery and yet the mood and essence of this poem sing. Love it! Bless you, Kate xx
Wooooooooooow this is a masterpiece. Very romantic indeed. Instead of bombs if we only had slammed love on every bit of this gigantic earth, the outcome would have been blasts of love, volcanoes or love, seas of love, rivers of love, winds of love. Every whisper and every whistle would have been love and mankind would have lived a life of joy and harmony. This is a poem living inside a living love
