Beloved, yes, time would die,
if you say, "I don't love you."
It is difficult to accept when we love someone who does not return those feelings, whether that love is of the romantic form or through friendly respect from those who ended being "false friends." Time heals wounds, memories fade and as days pass, the sadness from knowing love is not reciprocated eases, somewhat. Still, the memories of what was (in our own minds and only in our own minds) and cannot be will haunt for a lifetime.
