Love is as mysterious as life itself. When we think we got it figured out, wamo! In comes a lesson that knocks up for a loop. I never thought I would ever marry but here I am married and enjoying it regardless of the negatives. "from long comradeship." matches my wife and I. I couldn't leave her so I married her. Good poem. G

Wonderful...yes you have it!
Wow do I know about how it strikes instantly.
There is a good kind of love that developes over time, but then there seems to be spiritual connections where people instantly recognize who they are to each other.
I've been so blessed with both.

What do you do with a love so intense...but is never answered?

I like the idea of spiritual unity within a relationship. I was going to disagree about it having to form instantly. But then thought about the most profound love of my life and must admit the spiritual force was there...I just didn't recognize it for what it was till much later. You make great sense, my friend.
