Poem Artwork

Not all days are short
Some days are longer than the years
The day we found us, was
Million times longer than the longest year

Not all memories are ephemeral
Some memories are eternal than our dreams
The day we first kissed, was
Million times cherubic than our present dreams

Not all nights are dark
Some nights are brighter than the day
The night we made love, was
Million times brighter than the brightest day

Not all tears are painful
Some tears are tender than the laughter
The tears of our orgasm, was
Million times salient than the transient laughter

Not all bonds are fragile
Some bonds are stronger than the fate
The bond of our soul, is
Million times stronger than the amorphous fate

Not all winds are hurricane
Some winds are salubrious than the gleam
The winds of our emotion, is
Million times salubrious than the heavenly gleam

Not all boundaries are finite
Some boundaries are infinite than the sky
The fervor of our love, is
Million times infinite than the infinite sky

And my friend Bhuwan, not all poems are as beautiful as this one. Not all words strike deep inside the heart as this one. And not all writers can write with the brillance as this one has been written.
Great poem! Bill

A powerful set of comparisons, Bhuwan!
I have to merely say I agree with Peg Bertrand
on the same points.
You are indeed, a great poet.
