An original poem.
------------- |
|
in the beginning was a sound, a sword
that shattered the nothingness. before the light
and the darkness was divided, a word
was formed, and creation awoke. the night
would never be silent again. the sun
and moon conspired to form someone who could
understand as well as hear. but that one
had words of his own. this was understood,
and another was formed to listen, so
that the universe could be spared. only
the noise was greater. stars made a vacuum
so voices would not be carried. loneli-
ness resulted, and the night sky then grew
black. the power of the word ceased to grow.

Hi Kurt!
Interesting and provocative poem indeed! Your syntax and style bear the marks of originality.
I just noticed that you are tracking my AD. That's how I ended up here. I shall return of course.
Take care.

This is awesome Father Messick.. it resonates. His hand will always always light the world.
