I wrote this for my grandpaw Jack after he passed away.

I thought you would always be invincible.

I thought you would be unbreakable

until the cancer took you away from me.

You left me without a goodbye.

It broke my heart when you passed away.

I feel so lost without you here.

I know that you are smiling down on me.

It's hard to say goodbye to you but

I know you have gone to heaven to walk with Jesus.

So spread your wings and fly away to

the place where there isn't any pain!

I know that you are always around me

but its hard to realize that you are gone.

I finally accepted the fact that you were gone,

just to find out that you are

the sun

that shines through the clouds down on my face.

your presence is always around me

when the wind blows around me.

I will always cherish our memories in my heart and soul.

By the way I'm let you know that

I'm finally ready to let go...

I Love you grandpa Jack

It begins it. I have been here before, as I could tell.
For finding: that myself I have reborn
But not seen, is forever to persist
To gather around the seasons of space with the everlastingness of event
With the layered energy as it is made of things.
Into the logical fiber of the tribute: a thought arises
And stays on course, slowly progressing, not done.
By fear: the fear that’s been since forever,
In the same space the inseparable normal good
Being passed through mankind
Came accessible to me: I fade into remoteness

I can feel your pain and anguish Samantha, but like you say your Grandad Jack is always with you in Spirit.
We should not fear death because it is a release from ours sins and torment
Hang Tough !

You must've loved him very much. My grandfather died of cancer, but I was away at school. It was only recently my father told me. On the other hand, my maternal grandmother traveled with me, and it was so sad when she first beat cancer, and then, got it again. I was away at school then, too, so the pain was less.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
