From dust,
Then from a drop
He gave life,
Form and movement;
A whole being produced.
He made it,
A thing of dust
Into a being of status
And trust.
He made it,
And added value
And decorum.
It’s an animal
Yet not an animal,
Like an angel
Yet better than Angel.
From this drop of fluid
Messengers, prophets,
Creatures called Insaan
bashar, human tagged at birth,
Named and designated.
It’s flesh and fluids
And blood that pours.
A minute creature walking on two
Structures, half animal, half plant
Mostly of water.
Sometimes like a rock
Other times like butter soft
Melting at the touch of sorrow.
Sharp like knife
Emotions faster than light.
How life would be if all was had
Luxuries and human desires unlimited
And nothing for the soul’s keep?
He who created, knows best.
