It's Burns Night again on the 25th of January, Scotland's national bard deserves all the adulation as he was a man of compassion and insight who wrote marvelous humorous tender and romantic poetry that has struck a chord with people all over the world. Loved the lassies like Vermeer:
Jean Armour, Highland Mary,
The Girl With The Pearl Earring.

Not too straight like a Kirk
minister or a Mondrian picture;
a laughing Dutchman, so cavalier!
