The Forth and Clyde Canal

There's no Ratty or Moley on our canal
no Toad Hall or Mr. Badger,
no Alice falling down a rabbit hole
No fantasy merchant on the Forth and Clyde,
but ducks, swans and moorhens,
pigeon lofts and lassies with prams.

Forth and Clyde Canal

There's nae Ratty or Moley on the Nolly
Nae Toad Hall or Mr. Badger
Nae Alice fallin' doon' a rabbit hole,
Nae fantasy merchant on the Forth and Clyde,
but ducks, swans and moorhens,
pigeon lofts and lassies wi' prams.
