Venice is teeming with tourists, so I got up early this morning for a photo walk. Then I met Stan at the spot where we were to start our guided tour of the Doges' Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and St. Mark's Basilica. Tonight we meet my uncles and aunt for dinner! Looking forward to it.
It's not only the most beautiful bookstore that I've ever visited, but also the most enchanting and eccentric. Have you heard of the Libreria Acqua Alta book shop in Venice? Come along with us as we guide you through the most interesting bookstore that's become quite the tourist destination.
Venice Bookshop
Libreria Acqua Alta
Bookshop of Venice,
hand-tooled leather covers
and inside the store
many dedicated book lovers
leafing through our volumes
Read about Casanova
another young lady signorina at his door
Read about Vivaldi and the Grand Canal
he knew how to handle a violin
have a laugh reading about Grimaldi
or shed a tear for Pagliacci!
Don't miss the gondola
to our place, High Water,
Acqua Alta.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
Beautif
Love ya!
