African Land Snail Ready to do battle with slugs and snails and other pests, but what's this? The African land snail! A huge monstrosity with black horns quietly munching on my vegetables and then another, his mate, emerging from the compost heap. Revenge looms for the thousands nipped in the bud, fallen on eggshells, and drowned in salt and beer.
