Isfahan

The Blue Dome of Shah Mosque، Imam Square،
He takes off his shoes and enters.
She's an Iranian jewel in his eyes.

Beautiful bridges along the Zayandeh River
dark brown hair with a turquoise clasp
He hopes always to be with her holding hands.

Making Minakari in the Grand Bazaar,
worshipping in the Friday Mosque,
he loves her copper art!

Translating his little poem into Farsi,
the language of Rumi and Hafez;
You’re half my world, you’re Esfahan!
