Wild Ken Hill


I was born on Wild Ken Hill
A little beaver kit with big ideas
to dam the waterways of England
Paddling the waters and gaps,
I'm a Norfolk beaver eco-engineer
the first in these parts since 600 years.

There'll be Mr and Mrs Beavers
and little kit beavers running around.
We aim to live in harmony with you chaps
and maybe prevent East Anglia floods,
we'll go at, sirs, like a couple of young bloods.

Thank you, Conservation manager,
you've put the wild back in Wild Ken Hill,
Summer returns to Narnia, as it were.
