Where I'm from it's the Robin that eats the disgusting earthworm with gusto. Cock its head to one side to hear the worm crawling underneath the ground, and then strikes. Usually getting a tasty worm.
I have harvested Woodcock who also eat earthworms. But eating their flesh is a challenge because they taste like what they eat.
