in that place of wind and wave
you'll find the real aha moments,
the footprints in the sand that lead
to amazing.
Before another oh no! office meeting
try a walk along the beach
where the concepts are always changing;
you'll find your own solutions
and bring a fresh approach to the table.
A good walk along the seashore,
blow away the cobwebs with your friend
the morning, a meeting of minds
that is simply amazing.

The poem seems to have a good lesson. Where I worked for 30 years the seashore was 60 miles away and I rarely got there to walk it. But I did get out to a local State Park on Saturdays after doing my neglected week long chores so that I could enjoy the warmth of the late afternoon leading to sunset when the animals came out to parade in front of me and clear my mind.
Otherwise, driving to work with the radio turned up through freeway traffic for 20 miles was always relaxing for me. Got me ready for those morning meetings like a black cup of coffee.
