Morning Jazz

Woke up this morning sun kissin' my face
Got my coffee brewin' it's a slow sweet pace
Pyjamas on and my hair in a mess
Don't care if I'm in tune, don't care about the stress
It's a silly little mornin' everything's all right
Chasing autumn leaves that dance in the light
I swing to the rhythm of this jazz in my soul
With a chuckle and a grin I take on the whole
Silly morning mood
Carefree swinging to the laughter just my cup of tea

Cliff Richard's charm is all I want to hear
Richness and gentleness in their sweet sweet sound
Bringing joy to my heart spinning around and around
Stations of the cross or word on a wing,
You know a walk along the shore would be
just the thing, a breath of fresh air,
in this silly little morning mood that's everywhere.
