Every room, every haveli
has an elephant named Ganesha
I'm going to India, to Kerala
Hands and toes, phalanges supple,
this is our morning exercise
climbing up the Mallakhamb pole
The queen of Mallakhamb, Kavita
Her minds flows like the Ganga,
the Ganges
A good life in her Maharani bed
From the Persian Minakari tea-set,
Assam, Darjeeling, and sandwiches
Laughter Yoga Club together
ha, ha, ha, a good life,
lovely Kavita
I'm such a happy fella
Turning over a new leaf
the size of an umbrella.
