Mine Reborn
I may have passed,
but I am not gone.
Through fresh eyes
I can still see,
and hugs, yet small,
are nonetheless all
that is mine reborn.
Small hands so gentle
is their caress –
though distant fingers;
wipe away your tears.
Echoed laughter
down empty hall,
my heart beats still,
a living memory
of our world.
So, for me,
do not mourn.
For, from all things,
I reach out to you,
and, from which all
that is mine reborn.
