A love poem about a husband who loves his wife.

Let me tell you a love story
A story about three little phrases
The most beautiful words that came from your lips
You said, "Yes, I do, I love you."

It was the day when I first met you
You were standing there, just smiling at me
And we loved each other as the days went by
Until the day when I asked you the question

You stood there smiling as I knelt down
And that first little phrase of one little word
Came flowing from your lips
You said, "Yes."

And then came the day, the most happy of days
When I was dressed up, and you were in white
And you walked down that aisle with a smile on your face
I took your hnd and we stood face to face

And then came the part where we said our vows
And that second little phrase of two little words
Came flowing from your lips
You said, "I do."

As the days went by, our love grew strong
Giving little kisses and little hugs
Curling up by fires or sitting under the stars
Taking little trips that are near or far

And as we fell asleep in our little bed
That third little phrase of three little words
Came flowing from your lips
You said, "I love you."

And then came the days when our hairs turned gray
With wrinkles on our faces, we continued to laugh
With you barely sweeping the floor and me holding a cane
We continued to lve each other with a love so strong

Until the day that I asked you
That dreaded four-worded phrase, "Do you love me?"
And the three little phrases flowed out like a poem
You said, "Yes, I do, I love you."
