Death of the Prophet Amos Amos the prophet stands On the worn cathedral steps Wailing loud the funeral dirge For a death that is yet to happen Amy of the house of wine F***ed up all over her party Next door to her over-concerned dad While Blue Mary watched from her shrine Salvation had a steep price A tattoo, a Celtic cross in red “To the death” a challenge of the world Busted by the bouncer, Amos fell down dead © 2010 Dayvid Graybill
