My spiritual journey is taking me to many places. This includes a place where Christian Scripture has become much more meaningful and alive for me. When Christianity is all about saying the right words, when it is about a "rapture" that will happen some day, or if it is about making my life more pleasant, it is only a farce! When it tries to protect itself or expand itself through military might, it is a farce and NOT following in the way of Jesus!

Charles Stanley on the Radio

Pray with me

The sinner’s prayer

Charles Stanley on the radio

Has God all figured out

No questions allowed

Pray with me

The sinner’s prayer

Preaching, teaching, praying

Know Charles and know God

Such damned arrogance!

Pray with me

The sinner’s prayer

Life is happy with Jesus only

All others are miserable

Is what he said

Pray with me

The sinner’s prayer

Charles says heaven will be great

Life is good, I’m heaven bound

This world is bad!

Pray with me

The sinner’s prayer

Kill the earth with oil

It’s all going up in smoke

In the end anyway

Pray with me

The sinner’s prayer

Kill the terrorists in God’s name

It’s good they are Muslim

Expand Christianity!

Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the Lord my soul to keep…

I believe Karen has it right; it is not the man you follow, the theology you subscribe to, or the book you adhere to. It is and always will be that part that exists in your heart and sould that knows what you should do...and it starts with trusting yourself first, and maintaining a spiritual walk. I agree with Ed, the last two lines are keepers.

Well done!
Cheers,
Dan

These corrupt religious frauds are more deadly than the Muslim terrorists because they pollute the gullible populace's minds, passing themselves off on extremely intelligent, unsuspecting people, and use brainwashing tactics and neo-cheating to prey on lesbians, gays, noncomformists, using lowly educated and mentally challenged "mules" to force religious belief and spread ignorant propaganda laced with lethal doses of bigotry and hatred. It infiltrates these websites and radio stations and spreads like the swine flu...when religion turns brothers and sisters against one another, it's time to annihalate these socio-paths and eliminate all such nonsense, of which I am in contact with spiritual abuse reprobates doing what I have just described. Today's Christianity teaches and preaches hatred. It is against the law and these disloyal factions will be prosecuted for cybercrimes throughout the world. This type of personality feeds off of white supremacy power and mind control of which they have little of. Switch the radio station. Nice informative poetry, Dayvid.

"Now I lay me down to sleep

I like this part and how it is used in Enter Sandman by Metallica...Also don't ya just hate those that say that they know God so well and in reality, we all know him just as well, if we allow ourselves...e
