True love cannot be found where it truly does not exist,Nor can it be hidden where it truly does.

LUNACY AND LOGIC

 

When day light lowers heavy lids

Emerging twlight softly bids

The earth to lay it's onus down

Bathed by star light's.....silvered gown

 

The fit is one, that forms to all

From mountain tops.....to children small

By cloak of gentle, coaxing peace

Acceptance brings....dulcet release

 

Horizons thin......by eventide

When dreams and needs, transcend divide

As all is plumb....and put to right

By slumbered seed....that vines the night

 

A shadowed offering of form

Where dreams are gracefully reborn

By womb of logic's corded chain

It's all so clear.....'neath moon's domain

Oh, the quote! so true. (and the "love, in Celtic") was a warming thing for me, as you know.

BUT... it's all about the poem for me, lovely Anita. It makes no sense to repeat, line for line, this utterly graceful, originally expressed piece, but I would have to, if a favorite phrase were to be chosen here.

You are so able to make thoughts and expression float... you stir senses, you make your word-visions accessible and I just sit and let them fill my head. I don't believe there is anyone quite like you. What a poet! Sigh... katy xox

The lunacy of this world and the logic in your gentle words of peace are in sharp contrast, as you have beautifully illustrated in this poem. Why does one always reach for the word "beautiful" when describing your poetry? Because each one is like a well-ochestrated symphony...

I didn't detect a lot of lunacy in this well-written poem, but i did sense and appreciate the logic of peaceful and untroubled (I know, redundant.) sleep. Well done.
