I'll Find My Light, Inside

I'LL FIND MY LIGHT, INSIDE
 
I left a place I never was
Along with all unsaid
Pushed by the dark of echoes
Where softest whispers lead
 
I took my box of everthing
And satchel full of seed
A jug of soothing waters
And all that I believed
 
I left the place I never was
To walk on brighter roads
And as these paths divided
I lightened half  my load
 
A choice to travel left or right
North, east, south, or west
With half a box of everything
I set upon life's quest
 
For what I left by crossroads
Was fruit of harvest seed
I spread them for another
Who may pass by......in need
 
Now I have chosen what to bring
Along this path untried
And if it's dark and barren
I'll find my light......inside

Queenie, this is a delightful poem. I love the idea that we all have a light inside. You refresh me of that.

Finding the light inside, is always a very good thing.

But I thought this was going to be about finding the light concerning a poor wretched old ogre, and how truly good he really is!

What a wonderful inspiration this poem is, Anita. The further we go on the road of life the more we learn about the magical strength we carry within and the less we need of the things we have always relied on from the outside. Great job!
