The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears. ~John Vance Cheney
For Those Who Do Not Cry
One can only wish and try
To break the dam, and have a cry
Humans are not made of stone
But hearts of vesseled skin and bone
Each feels true , their pain unique
By agonies they're drained and weak
Compacted pain into a ball
Veiled from life, by inward crawl
Could they wish their pains away
Give their bleakest thoughts the sway
Could they forget, and start from scratch
Allow no twin, nor sadness match
Who is hopeless, who is not
Who can leave. what's best forgot
One can only, wish and try
To break the dam, and have a cry

Cheer up!
The rhythm of this poem adds to the upbeat message. You get me thinking about human nature and our reactions to the bumpy road we all travel. Love and Hugs,
