The Merchant of Venice and his pound of flesh. But take it as ye may, but with nought blood. The prison a lock with a shylock.
You is just toooo clever.
... and YOUR pound of poetry flesh I have been craving over a very long time, Anita! And this satisfies, as do all your writes - and stunning artworks!! You have a gift of weaving deeply philosphical tendrils of thought into the most intricate of poetic gilded fretwork whose beauty and artistry we can only stand back in awe of and admire... and then sigh deeply! Another write that's worth it's weight in meaning. So good to see you here again! :)) xx
Anita,
This poem feels a bit mysterious. I want to know the secret! lol:) This is so strange, but I was just dusting my bedroom (not the strange part) and I found a key similar to the one in your painting. I put it on top of my jewelry box, thinking it would be great inspiration. After reading your poem, it feels more like a premonition now. Enjoyed this write! Hugs,
Sheila

This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses

day.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
You is just toooo clever.
