I will be free, even to the uttermost, as I please, in words. --William Shakespeare The Taming of the Shrew. ~~~WORDS OF PREY~~~ Intoxicate, inebriate, my will is not my own When I read words of beauty, to which my spirit's prone The magic of their spell is cast,thru woven patterns verse And bathes me in a crystal brook, by which my soul's immersed Entice and liberate me, I am an easy prey Soberity is out the door, as I just drift away Corrupted by my daydreams, absorbed by reverie To worlds beyond the vision, that my mortal eyes can see Anita January 8, 2003
