Parody of Patterns A promise is a parody right from its inception That can explode like fireworks,in every which direction Its intention maybe noble, with honor at its core But what is pledged with purest heart, can go right out the door! So ask me not for promises I fear I may not keep Accept my words and actions, I've set in easy reach Just know that I am here for you, tho I may seem oblique And try to light my fireworks, in patterns straight and neat Anita 7/18/02 I wrote this poem... because... for period of time I had so many people in my life claiming that I promised this or that....and I knew....I didn't!!

Anita...this is beautifully done. I learned never to make a promise.I dislike when people do , because most times it does as you say, "goes right out the door"...
