Through the ages some stones have become well known for certain powers.




STONE COLD

Upon a cord of silken string, I slip each polished stone
Beneath the vivid colors seen, are mysteries long known
Secret, magic, superstitions......Essence I can't hold
Invested speculations....leave my heart..... stone cold
