Dear Lord, I pray that you will bless
This husband and this wife
Hold their two hearts in your caress
Each day of their new life
Let nothing ever rise above
The bonds they now embrace
So, they shall thrive in lasting love
Surrounded by Your grace.
Bestow upon their lives, O Lord
The greatest of all things
Let tender love be their reward
Through all this lifetime brings
Grant their two souls a sun-filled trail
Where blue skies light the way
So, they shall live a fairy tale
Forever and a day.
O Lord, I pray Your strength will bring
This man and his new bride
Closer to where the angels sing
Let their dreams be their guide
From this day on, Lord, take their hands
Hold their hearts near Your own
So, they will never walk the sands
Of this world, all alone.
Dear Lord, I ask this humble prayer
In Your Heavenly Name
Bless these two lives, beyond compare
With love’s eternal flame
Let their romance burn for all time
Endlessly strong and true
As a love always in its prime
Ever hallowed by You.
