Russet leaves Float softly down
As Gouls and Goblins race through the town

Brittle grass crackles ‘neath heavy boots
And Softly the Oak Tree’s Barred Owl hoots

Small creatures scurry to and fro
Completing Procurement ‘ere the snow

Fluttering Flitting stretching wings
A long trip cold weather brings

Through barren limbs a mournful cry
As Silver orb floats in ebon sky

Soon the Beasts will hibernate
To awaken on another date

Activity in winter to calm
Thus is autumn’s psalm
