The Amazing Magnificent Him

Poem Artwork

All mighty are you,
The Magnificent Him
Of our cosmos,
The font of all that is admirable,
So much of which,
We question,
So much we can never know.

If I could speak with you,
I would ask first from whence you came,
Knowing that you were the alpha,
But what memories linger still;
Of darkness?
Of hope on a dawning day?
Variable light across the skies,
Fleeting days,
And durable nights,
Family planning for ten million years.
Were you ever lonely?

Do you know me?
Or do you only know my line?
DNA across our universe,
Strung together on a Saturday morn.
What comes first
When there is nothing before you,
And you are possessed of infinite power and light?
Do you build a cosmic home,
Or a family who can live within?
Boundless imagination
Have You,
The amazing Magnificent Him.

What fool confines himself
To tunnel-vision;
Of himself,
And his life,
And his death,
And believes that there is nothing more?
Has he never taken the time,
To gaze into the night time sky?
Does he see himself as some
Freak genetic accident,
And never contemplates,
Anything,
So tragically,
He watches his art drift by?

I choose the Magnificent Him,
My Royal Majesty:
His beautiful wife,
And loving sons,
Benevolent spirit
For all to feel.
He made me,
And loves me to this day,
He left me free to journey,
The boundless universal sea.

He, above all else,
Knows my failing,
Nurtured along my road,
As I seek queries to all of the answers,
And try to find my way back home.
I feel you ever closer,
My majestic Magnificent Him,
And know that I am of you,
Even now,
Drowning in this vast sea of sin.
But soon,
I’m sure in the eternal night,
My matter will become
Pure energy,
A fledgling ray of light.
I’ll rise into the stratosphere,
Away from the fields of sin,
I’ll be a beacon of hope
To the masses,
As I streak toward the Magnificent Him.

only those who know all the true balance of pure love, which, yes, does bear a name(glad someone acknowledges "HER"),along with HIM;REALIZE THE RADIANT SPLENDOR of the Magnificent HIM..BUT, AS hIS IMAGE, REMEMBER,you, too, are also...magnificent.

What a beautiful picture this paints, Frank. In my mind, I see your light, streaking across the atmosphere like some blue/green comet. I hope you get back "home" and find yourself in a loving family of familiar spirits. TAke care. --Charlie
