Poem Artwork

Oer’ lolly cragh his spirit flies,
Free at last is he,
Upon a flippant wind.

His sight encompasses
All above,
Perpetual specter of universal birth.

And freedom giveth all,
Taking none,
But pain, and poke, and penitence.

And fear,
Gone forevermore.

Sugar coated write, but so true, so true, sweet place is waiting for us to go. Freedom there, not pain, and fears gone away. Like a kite sailing in the wind this poem goes up to the highest level it can reach.

Fear... gone forevermore....
That is the real beauty of it all!

I love that first breath of poetry... especially "flippant wind". The whole of this poem is contest-worthy, Frank. It's got loads of great new word-combos, and depth and wisdom-- and yet it's a bit whimsical too. --Great poetry.

And on a personal note, it sounds like acceptance has found a home in you. I'm so glad to have run across this today, as it's been an "I want my mama" day.

--Trully a great write. You should submit it to a magazine. --Charlie
