Every morning I layout your clothes,
bring you your glass of sweet tea.
I fetch your shoes or anything else you might need.

I cook your meals and clean your house,
things  I've wanted to do because I'm your wife.

When you come home I greet you at the door with a hug and a smile, asking about your day.

I rub your feet and your back,I trim your toenails and mustache.

I laugh at your jokes,even when their not funny,because I want to be a good wife.

never asking what I might need.
You put me down and talk to me like I am a child.

To you my thoughts and ideas are of no importance,if they differ from yours.
You drink your beer and when you get mad you throw it in my face.

I can't have friends and when family call you are suspicious.
I tiptoe around trying to make sure I don't upset you.
