I firstly was an adherent of books and swords, And only then I was blessed with wisdom of great men. In the east my civil service received no rewards; In the western campaign my weapon got me no fame. I studied writings and I mastered my martial arts; I mastered my martial arts and I studied writings. Today I’m already too aged; What is ahead of me is not worthy of mentioning.

I do appreciate your wording, sir, I couldn�t put it better. In fact, it�s all about �gong-fu,� your obtained through lifespan capability to keep on your legs and gulp down some external pressure of life for the sake of common peace, that�s all. It has nothing to do with �puzzling� or �mysteries.� The whole question is whether you can bear it to the end or not. I thank you again for your kind viewing.

Creating and solving riddles and such was once a major passtime and part of interactions on every level of society. I am an old man, too, and am happy to say that I never got very good at puzzles and mysteries, but I have managed to make a life with one other human being.
