I've heard people say, a frog in a well

Cannot be talked with about the heavens --

It is confined to the limits of its hole

Thru which it looks up at a piece of the sky.

This is what is called Spatial Delimitation.

The same thing is with an insect

Of the summertime which

Cannot be talked with about ice --

It knows nothing beyond its own season

To be an instance of Temporary Restriction.

A scholar with his narrow background

And limited views cannot be talked with

About universal stuff -- he is bound

By the teachings which he has received;

Hence his proper style is Narrow-Mindedness.
