Would not break a lance with those

Nor would one, however easily

Made wrathful, wreak his resentment

On the brick suddenly fallen on his head.

In this way, all under the blue sky

Would be in peace, without the mess

Of assaults and slaughter, without

The penalties of death, blood feud

And destructive to both sides warfare; --

Such would be the issue of a proper course

For a person, family, community

And the whole country in the upshot.
