Poem Artwork

If you keep your body in a healthy state

And focus only at one thing at a time,

The harmony of Heaven and Earth

Will come to you with due time.

Call in your knowledge and make

Your measures uniform, and

The spiritual belonging to you

Will come and lodge with you for long.

The attributes of your true self-nature

Will be your beautiful expression,

And the entire universe

Will be the place of your habitat.

You will have the simple look

Of a newborn child, and

Will not seek to know the cause

Of your being what you are.

I have done that, says my memory. I cannot have done that, says my pride and remains adamant. At last - memory yields. "What you think you become" Buddha...
Finding peace being who you are is a treasure of great value. A fine exhortation, Alexander. rlc
