The heavens above
We have grown to love
Their appearance to sight
Unfailing, day and night
How our moods they stir
Everything becomes a blur
Mystical sentiments they create
Causing things natural to sometimes abate
Our hearts in rapture they lift
Oh thank God for their gift
Hanging without seen foundations
Steadily present for all generations
As long as they remain
Our hope for life is not in vain
Though our world has many scars
Behold, Sun, Moon And Stars
Tonight the moon here is especially clearly visible, but the title of your poem would have attracted me at any time. Thanks for posting, Thurman!
