An attempt at humor - part real, part fiction.

It is said that Truth is stranger than Fiction - can you tell the difference? Does this poem have anything to do with my other recent posts?

If so, how so? What is her name? If I were pulling petals off a flower, saying: "SHE loves me - SHE loves me NOT ..." What would the LAST petal be?

WHY do you think that?

Vive La Difference!

SCENARIO:
A guy walks into a bar.
A Beautiful Blonde is sitting at the bar on a Barstool.

HE: “My, my, don’t you look just Wonderful tonight!’
SHE: “Why, Handsome, you ain’t a half-bad Hunk yourself!”

HE: “Do you mind if I sit here?”
SHE: “It’s a Free Country, Big Boy!”

HE: “Can I buy you a drink Miss ___?”
SHE: “Can means Possibility to do so - May asks Permission!”

HE: “Well, I stand corrected - are you a Nun?”
SHE: “Not hardly - Sweetie!”

HE: “Is that a Bloody Mary or a Lazy Susan you’re drinking?”
SHE: “Yeah, but now I’d like a Shot and a Beer, or a Boilermaker.”

HE: After ordering Two shots and Two beers:
“I’m Tom, what’s your name, Little Darlin’?”
SHE: “That’s not important - just call me SHE.”

HE: “Oh, that’s interesting - why so mysterious?”
SHE: “No mystery, Mister, just my Monogram.”

HE: “Monogram - you mean like your Initials?”
SHE: “You are a Quick Study, aren’t you?”

HE: “You look familiar, have we met before?”
SHE: “I’ll bet you say that to All the Ladies, Hon!”

HE: “Are you waiting for someone?”
SHE: “Well, Sir, I thought you would never ask!”

HE: “I don’t see any Band on your finger - are you Free?”
SHE: “I may be Free, but I ain’t Cheap!”

HE: With a hearty Chuckle: “I didn’t mean it That way, Hon.”
SHE: “Yeah, I know, you’re the Only guy that thinks with his Head, Right?”

HE: “Now, now - Darlin’ - let’s not go There, Okay?”
SHE: “Sorry - just came down from a bad relationship, and still Hurtin’.”

HE: “That’s Okay - Been There - Done That!”
SHE: “Sometimes Life just SUCKS!”

HE: “Maybe I can change that Attitude?”
SHE: “Well now - what makes you Different?”

HE: “I hate to Blow my own horn, but - I’m:
Friendly, Loyal, Patient, Kind, Joyful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent!
Once was a Boy Scout - Doncha’ know!”
SHE: “Sure - weren’t you ALL - Once?”

HE: “Sounds like you haven’t seen or read THE SECRET?”
SHE: “I just recently got it, but haven’t watched it yet.”

HE: “Perhaps we could watch it Together?”
SHE: “Your Place, or Mine?”

HE: “Prefer Yours, I’m Trailer Trash.”
SHE: “OH?”

HE: “Remember The Odd Couple? I’m Oscar, the Slob!”
SHE: “Aren’t you ALL?”

HE: “How about Dinner and The Movie, at Your Place?”
SHE: “I’m game - but NO HANKY-PANKY - got That?”

HE: “Okay, I can Dig it - Just Friends, Right?”
SHE: ‘ RIGHT!”

HE: “Dinner at Eight?”
SHE: “Don’t Be Late!”

HE: “MAY (notice the permission) I have your number?”
SHE: “Yeah, it’s - 555-55-5555 - Can (possible) you Remember That?”

HE: “GOT IT!”
SHE: “CALL ME!”

HE: “Ooh, Ooh, Ooh - and your eMail Addie?”
SHE: "SHE at whatacallit.com."

HE: “Maybe I’ll write you a Poem, Sweetheart.”
SHE: “Don’t call me SWEETHEART - BUB!”

HE: “Sorry, Doll!”
SHE: “Don’t call me DOLL!”

HE: “Sorry, Babe!”
SHE: “Don’t call me BABE!”

HE: “What SHALL I call you - HON?”
SHE: “Don’t call Me - I’ll call You!”

HE: “SURE - SURE!”
SHE: “Don’t forget the Merlot -

OR the Roses - Yellow!
OR the Chocolates - DARK!
OR the Diamonds - BRILLIANT!
AND -
