"GET MONEY OUT!" HOW MANY HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS, OR EVEN TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS HAVE BEEN 'BLOWN' IN THE PAST 50 YEARS IN ... 'POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS' ? ISN'T YOUR 'HINEY-HOLE' SORE YET?

As well as Wall Street and The Banks? Run Rough-Shod over Us, Then Demand a ‘Bail-Out’? How Dare They? Could it be that We Don’t Deserve Respect? Has Our Silence Forfeited it? Let’s take a ‘Look-See’ At a couple of ‘Big’ Banks ... Bank of America and CitiBank. BoA recently made an Audacious Announcement That it would Eliminate 30,000 Jobs - To ‘Reduce Costs’ by Hundreds of Billions! Just yesterday, BoA announced that It would Start Charging $5 to its Customers For Each ATM Transaction! If I were a customer There - I would Close my Account Posthaste - And move my Money Elsewhere! Why? You might Ask ... If BoA establishes this Precedent Unchallenged - All the Others will Quickly Follow Suit! “Screw The Little Guy” - Should be Their Motto! But ... what IF ... Hundreds of Millions of Customers Did ‘Withdraw’ their Funds Immediately? Could that Act cause a ‘Run’? “You Bet Your Bippy” - It Might! If so ... ‘So Be It!’ - AMEN! - ‘Make It So!’ Might make the Other Banks ‘Think Twice’! A recent PBS Report tells Us That - CitiBank holds Assets Exceeding - 14 Trillion Dollars! It BRAGS that the Financial Problems In Europe will barely affect It as ... Only 14 Billion is ‘at Risk.’ What IF CitiBank simply Invested In The United States of America by ... Purchasing 1.3 Trillion $ in Treasury Bills? Would This not Help to ‘Bail Out’ The American Government Treasury - And ‘We The People’? Would This not Show Support? Why are ALL the Banks just - ‘Sitting’ on Their Money? Are ‘They’ merely Waiting for - ‘Exchange Rates’ to Improve? To Increase Paying ‘Perks’ to their CEO’s? Why are We being ‘Screwed’ on - Low Savings Interest Rates? People are ‘Hoarding’ their Money in Mattresses! WHY? ‘We The People’ - No Longer TRUST the Banks, The FED, the Government, the Congress! The ‘Powers That Be’ have Estranged US! ‘We The Sheeple’ are Too Dumb, Too Stupid, Too Ignorant to Understand! OR ... ARE WE? Money Begets Money! Money Begets Power! Money Begets ‘Bought Politicians! “GET MONEY OUT!” Dylan Ratigan has ‘Thrown a Pebble in the Pond!’ Thousands of Patriotic Americans Have followed Suit! How true this is!! I would like to know why they are 'bailing out' these banks and big businesses while in the mean times, the rest of have no jobs, have pay cuts, and were once doing quite well are now living pay check to pay check? When did all that happen?

It's a mind-boggling amount, and such a horrendous waste, since nothing ever gets better and we can't seem to find any so called 'representatives' who even want to make things better. I now find myself changing channels whenever a political ad comes on, and I dread election time since that's all we now see - billions and billions, in wasted money.

Agreed on most of what you say, Tom, but you have some facts wrong. The five dollar fee is only for those using their credit card for debits as opposed to using the card as a credit card, and it would be a one time monthly fee of five bucks.

Quite a rant, Tom. Can't say I buy all of it, but it's great that someone said it. Problem with pulling your money out of B of A to protest the $5 fee is that they'll still be collecting so many little $5's that they'll still make a pile of money off the deal. That's the bottom line. ",,,,, what makes us the most money? To hell with our customers, we're so big now that even a million defections won't make that big of a dent...."
