Hail Storm in Ottawa
Today, I am greeted by the Hail Storm
I heard tapping noise outside and
I opened the door to the porch.
Oh! What did I see!
Like the little pebbles,
Translucent pellets of ice!!!
Did I wonder Why?
Yes, I did wonder standing on the porch
Breathing fresh air and gazing at the sky
Wondering, how clever the creator of this
Transforming water molecules into its
Solid phase and carrying to the ground
With its liquid phase as the vehicle...
The mystical force of Nature - the creator
Driving in the reverse gear back in memory to
My childhood days to dream and fictionalize
What I recall of my memories then
Almost seven decades ago to
