I'm sure many men write poem's to the love of their life. This is one I wrote to my wife, Kathy. It is another example of the poetry in my book, "Acorns of Love and Wisdom." It is another of my celebrations from me the man, experiencing the woman.
AROUND EVERY CORNER
FOR KATHY
The imp
Carves the corners
Of your mouth
Into a grin
And our giggles
Mingle
As we play
Our grown-ups' games
The darling
That you are
Your golden aura
Your grace
Imprison
My Attention
And I watch you
And I touch you
Filled with Awe at
My good fortune
Your fingers
Squeeze their message
Back to my touch
I feel the warmth of your
"I love you"
As you whisper it
In my ear
And even when we're apart
There are thoughts of you
Around every corner
