Nothing is more captivating to a man than the sight of a beautiful woman. I guess we can be accused of staring, but there is a compliment in this stare as well. This is another poem from "Acorns of Love and Wisdom."

FEAST OF EYES

Sometimes it may be misunderstood
That my eyes appear to stare
Locked in primordial ogle
Captive in magic air

As my eyes devour the essence of you
The animal governs my daze
'Tis really a compliment in disguise
This approving, innocent gaze

Perhaps the animal in you - as well
Senses my nature as eyes feast
Perchance you're flattered and know
It's just the way of the beast
