Most of my poems start when I have an experience and then think about it. Words start taking shape in my head and that'w when I jump up to find a pencil before the escape. Such was the case here.
MY LAUGH
I hugged you close
You squeezed me
And with my head
Thrown back
In belly shaking mirth
I guffawed
With glee
And with apprehension
You asked
"Why did you laugh"
I laughed
Because
What you mean to me
Was too big
For a smile
