And if I wake give to those moments bliss
By turning to my angel for a kiss.
Night sounds, the wind or distant traffic noise
Can’t penetrate the dream my heart enjoys
Throughout the nights forever spent with you
In love that soothes my soul the whole night through.
Thank God we ever chose to live this way,
Together through the night and in the day
Anticipating times of future sleeping
For us each night a promise love is keeping.
Come sleep with me, lie sheltered in our bed-
My arms around your shoulders and your head
Upon my chest as close as you can be
To hear my heartbeat call you tenderly.
Lie still, let go, let every night be ours-
With scented pillows, fragrant garden flowers-
My love, embrace this dream and hold me tight.
I’m always yours, come sleep with me tonight.
This lives & breathes romance
