That Smile That smile I’ve seen it all before Just standing at the door When you first let me in. Your style It’s all that I adore I couldn’t ask for more- The thought would be a sin… The world’s a perfect place- That smile across your face… It’s nice to know that sometimes we can win. It’s grand At least- that’s how it seems The kind of things in dreams Is happening to me. Not planned Not written in the scenes- But yes by any means This is how life should be. How things turned out this way Is more than I can say- I wished for love but had to wait and see. And now We see the die is cast- It’s happening so fast The table set for two. Somehow Forget about the past This time it’s going to last- The dream is coming true . Give up without a fight- Now life has got it right That smile is here to stay for me and you. John H. Bidwell
