Sneaking Up Behind You
I’m sneaking up behind you, when you least expect me there-
You think I’ll never find you, and you wonder if I care.
I wrap my arms around and I whisper in your ear,
“In case you haven’t noticed, I’m the love that’s always here.”
You think that I don’t see you- but that’s only partly true ;
For ever since your picture it is all I ever do.
I really am beside you- even if you do not see-
And everything that’s beautiful is what you are to me.
I’m sneaking up behind you, so you know- but don’t look now;
We’re just a couple dreamers; have to work this out some how-
I know when you’ve been smiling, there’s this feeling in my heart;
Reminding me that in some way we’ll never be apart.
When every night is lonely, and our days are all too long-
I’m sneaking up behind you just to be where I belong.
I have to be there somehow and it seems the only way-
So I’ll be sneaking up behind you every single day.

My son regularly drags tubes of toothpaste around the outside of the house, seals each door upstairs with *sigh* more toothpaste, and keeps samples of 'ectoplasm' in his room, which is actually a ghost laboratory. He's ready to clonk any ghost on the head with his array of objects at the entrance of the home.
Blessings,
