If I could Be There If I could write myself into A dream as beautiful as you- If I could lie beside you there- And run my fingers through your hair… Watch you breathing deep in sleep- Love that has me bow and weep- Kiss your forehead, drop my tears- If I could be there- love appears. What’s to happen? Heaven? No? Now you've seen the way I glow- Is there winning? Must we lose? Only up to you to choose. I’ll be waiting patiently, Feeling love inside of me- Will it matter? How I care… Wishing I could just be there. Slowly waking, I would sing- Loving you is everything. Love in waves across your shores- If I could be there- dreams are yours. John H. Bidwell
