Contentment...that elusive feeling that we all search for, and find in the ordinary, everyday moments of our lives.
Thinking of those things, That comfort my soul... Tangible feelings. that Make me feel whole. Those first few cool breezes, As fall settles in.... The wind in the willows, A grandparent's grin. A bloom-filled crepe myrtle, A merry-go-round... Finding pecans Amidst leaves on the ground. The warm scent of cinnamon, A crisp, clear blue sky... The hug from a loved one, As we say goodbye. The scent of a baby, Fresh from his bath... The road to contentment Has no shorter path.
